**Generally, yes—if you completed and submitted your residence permit application before your permitted tourist stay expired.** Türkiye’s Migration Management says applicants whose visa expires before their appointment may remain until the appointment date with their application form. You do not ordinarily need to leave and re-enter just to attend the interview. [Official residence permit FAQ](https://en.goc.gov.tr/residence-)

Because **you have not yet received an appointment date**, check that your online application is actually submitted, rather than merely saved or started:

- Download and keep your application form and application number.
- Call **YİMER 157** from within Türkiye before your tourist stay expires. Give them your application number and ask them to confirm that your application is complete and covers your stay while awaiting an appointment.
- Attend the appointment with all required documents; missing it without a valid reason can mean you are treated as having never applied. [Official application guidance](https://en.goc.gov.tr/general-information41)

**Do not rely on a border trip to renew your tourist allowance.** Tourist stays are generally limited to 90 days within 180 days, and leaving briefly does not reset that limit. Check your visa’s actual permitted days rather than counting three calendar months. [Foreign Ministry visa guidance](https://www.mfa.gov.tr/general-information-about-turkish-visas.en.mfa)

Also, permission to remain while awaiting an appointment does **not automatically give you permission to re-enter** after leaving. The special travel arrangement for pending residence applications normally requires an application document issued at or after the appointment, fee receipts, and return within 15 days.
